Summer has more than arrived. Golf Course are open and are some of the safest refuges from Covid-19. There are still incongruities with professional golf. Fans or no fans- watching early July PGA no fans. The LPGA is back as it serpentines state and foreign travel plans. The Ryder Cup cancelled, Masters (or the Augusta National Invitational) if you are woke in November, the US Open in September (gads!) etc., etc. As an afterthought what happens to the President’s Cup next year. Is it moved a year later? Probably. Other questions come to mind, how will the Olympics golf play out, if there is an Olympics?
Well, that’s a lot to think about, or is it? The importance of golf in most of our lives is playing. Playing with our families playing with our buds, and Ah! even playing by ourselves is still there for us. Take advantage of it.
