Swindlus ceaseless It’s a game chock-full 0f less-than- desirable practitioners, but truly, is there anyone, anything worse than a classic Sandbagger? How low can you go, artificially inflating your handicap to win a logo visor, a pro-style umbrella, or a handful of measly pro shop chits? Then there is the equally abhorrent antipode, the vanity handicap. This charmer only posts his best scores, never entering the 95’s or 98’s because “That’s not how I usually play” So chopper that’s a legitimate 16 poses as an 11, gets killed in all the club tournaments and drags his innocent and rule-abiding partner down with him. Both versions should be keel-hauled through the scummiest water hazard on the course.
